ABOUT THE PROJECT

We want to be aware of diversity preciousness fact. Very important for all of us is that while we are learning about other cultures that we keep of our own culture knowledge. Children from several countries will learn by exchange their traditional folklore, music, dances and customs and they will be active in researching their own tradional heritage as well the foringe one with activities like dancing on different music, listening and singing songs from other countries.

Children will present themselves, their school, city, language, music, songs and dances of their countries, customs, festivities and celebrations of their families. Project will enable us to exchange good practices in dealing with cultural differences at the international European level, by strengthening interpersonal relations. We will know each other by making dialogue between cultures via this project. We will learn our festivals, traditional games, music, clothes, and we will teach each other.

TARGET

To enhance the students’ and teacher´s skills of research, taking responsibility and self-confidence. To enhance the level of general knowledge about our own countries and cultures

-To make a contribution to the students’ obtaining information and perspective about different countries and cultures.

-To give students a chance about introducing their own cultural values to the World

- The dissemination of good practices among other project participants.

Learning about multiculturalism by listening foringe language, collaborate with other schools, comparing way of living thru Europe.

Growth of knowledge about traditional music, songs, dances, habits in Europe.

WORK PROCESS

The Project is going to consist of monthly activities. Teachers are going to share the activities that children perform together on twinspace regularly and follow their partners from there. Every participant is going to share pictures, videos that introduce the country and children; a logo will be selected by children, teachers and others..

We will present and study different festivities, habits, customs and gastronomy , traditional folklore, music, dances, learn new songs and dances.

- Project will be introduced on web sites – Facebook/ Roots of Europe (Erasmus+KA2 229) and other web sites.

We will :

-organise different types of collaborative activities, take photographs, videos and paint pictures, making posters, talking about and playing on.

-have an International month – when we will delicate more time to know each other via web, letters etc..

- present a song Frère Jacques - Are You Sleeping (- Mojster Jaka in native languages and selected and learn one in a foreign language and all present and collect on a video.

RESULT

The project will have an impact on greater awareness, overcoming stereotypes, better understanding of social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity and positive response to it.

- It will enable us to exchange good practices in dealing with cultural differences at the international European level, by strengthening interpersonal relations. At the same time, it will open new possibilities for upgrading our own educational process, integrating innovative approaches, new methods of work, which can be gained in cooperation with partners during the project.

-To learn about their own cultural background, tradition and customs, - to acquaint themselves with the difference and to strengthen tolerance.

-developing their ICT skills and knowledge.

- improve communication skills and skills in working with international partners,.

-Improve knowledge speaking foreign languages.
