Project work prepared by German students (Oct. - Nov. 2015)

  • The first project year started with team building activities since the German team was bigger than expected. This year 19 students volunteered to join the Erasmus+ project at the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium in Garbsen. It was fantastic to see such great interest in the project work and the willingness to take extra-curricular next to their busy schedule.

The students wrote personal profiles to be matched with a project partner from another country. As soon as the students had their matching partner, they got in touch via etwinning, email or social networking. This was the most exciting aspect about the project to the students since they were eager to meet new people and get to know differents cultures and habits as their expectations concerning the project year revealed.

Further on, the students did research on the problem of youth unemployment in the participating countries and present their results at their school in the Erasmus + Corner.

They also collected information and produce a presentation about the German national educational system.

Furthermore, the students who travel in November prepare a questionnaire about the students’ future prospects (job career, studies, hopes and fears concerning their professional future) and send it to their partners.

On top of everything, the students produced a movie for the Cultural Evening about stereotypes.

The students published an article on their school homepage to inform about the project work and the upcoming students' meetings.
