Mechanical engineering technicians cover part of their curriculum through a series of constructions they build with a microprocessor (Arduino), cables and led lights.
Through a set of videos, technicians from different VET schools teach Primary school children how to build the circuits, create the code and eventually measure relative air humidity and ambient temperature (dry/wet bulb outdoor temperature) with common thermometers.
Partner schools can ask experts or use the web for advice and input, and then share it on TwinSpace.
A different VET school coordinates each activity and creates a short assessment task to be taken by all partner classes.
Primary school classes lead the final activity while
the final presentation of the complete project is cooperatively designed by all partner classes along with a game of Kahoot for overall assessment.
Interaction among partners takes place in Forums and ongoing evaluation takes place through polls.
