    ARCHIGYMNASIUM OPEN DAY

    LOGO CONTEST

    FIRST eTWINNING EVENT

On Saturday, 23rdNovember 2019, the Archigymnasium Soest organized an Open Day. Dozens of families came to learn about the educational offer and projects.

We also had the opportunity to inform about our

    Erasmus Plus Project STEPS

Students took part in two workshops

    THE LOGO

German and Spanish students are competing in a logo contest to represent the Project. Students in Soest (helped by Ute Ide of the Art Department) devoted themselves to creating their logo in the workshop. Students of Graphic Design in Utrera are coordinated by Belén Cano and Juan Guerrero. They all showed how talented they are!

    OUR FIRST eTWINNING MEETING

55 students and 8 teachers participated in our first eTwinning event. After some formative sessions, students of both countries had the chance to meet. The Germans worked in their school (led by Nicola Richthoff) and the Spanish from their homes (assisted online by Lucía Nieto). They got in contact in the chat. Later, they cooperated in small groups in different forums in order to carry out the first tasks of the project integrated in several sites that had previously been created for the occasion. This let them familiarize with the tools that eTwinning offers.

    EUROPEAN FAIRY TALES

Another EUROPEAN project was offered for younger children by Rebecca Hoffmeier:

    It was a great success.

We are aware we can learn a lot regarding online meetings, though.

Students were eager to meet new friends in the other country, with whom they are going to work in this amazing adventure.

We are very happy to have taken our first “STEPS”
