As a result of the Transatlantic Educators Dialogue (TED) Program (2018-2019), “Italy meets the USA and vice versa” is meant to provide Italian and American schools with a platform where the students from the USA can meet Italian students and they can get to know each other better using the tools available on the TwinSpace platform as well as any other web tools teachers and students see fit. They can edit their profile, post on each other's wall, comment on activities, discuss topics of interest asynchronously in the forums or synchronously in the chatrooms. They may meet each other on the TwinSpace or, if there are technical problems, they may use Skype or Blackboard. The teachers will meet online to plan the activities based on their curriculum and the students' interests.
