The project aims to encourage students to read stories to be able to tell them to the audience. Students are expected to boost confidence in public performance, develop reading habits and improve writing skills. Teachers are expected to apply their teaching skills in both formal and informal learning activities. Project results will include a book of stories and practical ideas for teachers how to include storytelling into classes and mark World Storytelling Day. Apart from that, students will be encouraged to stop perceiving traditional books as an out-of-date, uninteresting compulsory part of their curriculum.
