When Roses Fly. Approaching a shared European identity through creative writing and research of the past

This project, that combines creativity and historical research, invides it's participants from Greece and Germany to a journey discovering the past, shaping the present and improving a shared European identity through experiences, knowledge and understanding. The 70 participating students are at the age of 13-15 and attend the 2. Gymnasium Eleftherio-Kordelio, Thessaloniki, and the Sophie-Scholl-Gymnasium, Itzehoe. During the one year project the students engage in regular virtual meetings at the TwinSpace and two personal study trips, hosting the partners at their home towns. The project is cofunded by the European Commission.
