More than just play

Building on a previous project about Embracing Languages students suggested a project about games and play. Early on, human beings like to play and, according to research, different types of playful activity develop many different skills that are now more relevant than ever for the 21st Century learner: play shapes the brain and fuels imagination thus developing communication and creativity. With this project, Teachers and Students will reflect on the value of play and its benefits in terms of cognition and social behaviour, hopefully with experiences and examples being provided by them. They will also become aware of similarities / differences about games played in the partner countries and in different ages. Students will be encouraged to be participants to and help shape and lead the learning.
