In Catalonia, on April 23rd we celebrate Sant Jordi and the day of the book. This year we weren't able to celebrate this day because of the confinement, but the teachers at Edumar School decided to tell stories to our students. Based on the idea of the book "Telephone tales" by Gianni Rodari, each week the students have received a "good night story".
The text is in Catalan and is one of the stories in Rodari's book, both the voice, the post, and the illustrator are teachers from our school.
Thanks to this activity the students had an idea, they also wanted to tell stories. We did reading pairs, an older student and one of the younger ones. The eldest was preparing a story and called the little one to tell him the story.
With this we have made many boys and girls smile.
