The project was initiated and planned by three Finnish teachers from Ylitornion yhteiskoulun lukio, Ylitornio, Finland and seven Italian teachers from ISC G.Ungaretti, Melzo, Italy. The aim of the project was cross curriculum collaboration (English, ICT) between 40 Finnish upper secondary and 35 Italian primary/secondary students.

The goal was to arrange a project collaboration week in Ylitornio, Finland, work in mixed nationality/age groups and create digital stories in English using a guided storyboard and different applications on iPad. The goal was also to learn more about Finnish/Italian school systems, the use of technology in education, and culture.
