Ability or Liability?

The students will research on an ethical subject, prepare and carry out an international online debate, where international groups of eTwinners represent the interests of a chosen country and compromise on a legal bill about an ethical question. Through 21st century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, communication and cooperation students will change their perspective on an ethical problem and will need to work together very closely in international groups to find solutions and to debate their viewpoints in order to find a compromise for a legal bill in a 21st century world-wide context. Choice of possible topics: ETwinners will democratically decide on one of the topics according to their interest and the topic’s relevance to them. - Biogenetics in agriculture or medicine - Weapons/Nuclear weapons/drones/robots - Prenatal diagnosis/Disabilities - Animal testing/animal protection/ethical husbandry - Euthanasia/suicide/palliative care/hospice - Drugs/Legalisation of drugs
