The acquisition of basic mathematical skills is a key factor that will affect our students’ opportunities after leaving school. Competence in maths has an impact on people in daily routines, allows access to wider labor market chances, and fosters personal autonomy and critical thinking. Most students believe maths is not linked to their everyday life, get bored in maths classes and quit. This project wants to show how fun and connected to real life maths can be in order to encourage education and self-esteem.
