  • ?"Is gender equality a reality or a myth"

    In this interdisciplinary project students will try to answer this question by deepening their knowledge and their understanding about gender equality, including women's representation and self-perception in the contexts they are in contact with (family, school, group of friends, etc.), in the local, national and international news and in socio-historical perspective by means of several activities and thanks to the collaboration and exchange with their foreign partners.

    MAIN OBJECTIVES

    • to promote students' reflection about gender equality, women's representation and self-perception in different contexts and in socio-historical perspective
    • to make them reflect on gender issues and how they affect their identity formation


    OTHER OBJECTIVES

    • to use and improve English for real and meaningful purposes
    • to develop students soft skills and digital competence by using ICT and web tools
    • to make students aware of gender equality in all the countries involved in the project
    • to give students the chance to meet foreign teenagers and to get to know their culture from a particular point of view, to find out similarities and differences
    to promote students' active citizenship
    • to develop students’ critical research skills

    FINAL PRODUCT

    Creation of e a multimedia collaborative ebook where all the work of the students will be collected. A Project Based Learning approach will be carried out to develop the project.
