It has been reported that mindfulness interventions are acceptable for children and adolescents, as well as feasible and that they improve for example attention, emotional reactivity and some areas of metacognition.
This project is all about introducing pupils to mindfulness. Pupils will learn more about what it means to be mindful and unmindful and why mindfulness matters to our personal life.
Pupils will explore different mindfulness techniques and reflect on their experience.
They can come face to face with the pupils from different nations and raise their self-consciousness and achieve a sense of self-esteem as a result of collaborative work. At the end of this project, both students and teachers will have a vital addition to their knowledge of different countries and nationalities and profit much more from this multicultural environment.
