We decided which episode we wanted to describe in our music.

We worked in groups and used a planning sheet when creating our pieces of music.  We decided and what the mood of the music would be and what instruments would be appropriate to use to create that mood.

We discussed the mood we wanted to create with our pieces and chose appropriate instruments:

1 Learning to read, write and draw:

Mood = happy. 

Instruments:xylophone, recorder, drum, triangle, nut cabassa.

2 War.

Mood: sad, sad and even more sad. 

Instruments: xylophone, bongo, rainshaker, bells, drum.

3 The party.

Mood: happy.

Instruments: drum kit, guitar, solo drum, rainshaker, glockenspiel.

4 The baby dies.

Mood: sadness and tears and being upste.

Instruments:bongo, finger piano, rainshaker, scraper, xylophone.

5 Zach dies.

Mood: sad, so sad

Instruments: bongo, thumb piano, tabourine, rainshaker, nut cabassa.

6 Will is adopted.

Mood: happy, joy, over-excited.

Instruments: 2 bongos, gong, cabassa.
