Penfriending eTwinning project is about getting a real, active contact between pupils In Finland and in Slovakia. That's why the main way of interacting is via postcards. We believe that in our days of social media, an old fashioned snail mail is authentic and interesting to our pupils. We introduce to our pupils also Twinspace during our project by adding pictures and perhaps videos of our way of life in Finland and Slovakia. One extra theme is Cultural heritage since 2018 is an European Year of Cultural Heritage. One set of postcards will be sent according to this theme. There will be postcards four or five times during our project: Introduction, Christmas, Valentine and introducing our town and environment and cultural heritage. There is an option that we can continue our Penfriending project the next school year, as well.
