TMTGuMI YEAR3

This project aims to increase primary school educators’ understanding of multiple intelligences and to help them increase their abilities to create early learning activities that serves all kinds of intelligences, i.e. all individual child in their classrooms. This project is designed to increase awareness of the fact that there are different kinds of intelligences and it is possible to support each intelligence through creative and integrated activities in early childhood classrooms. While thousands of schools around Europe have adopted MI (Multiple Intelligences) teaching practices, most continue to educate students using the traditional logical-mathematical and linguistic methods. We are investigating schools using Dr. Gardner's theory of MI and try to establish a clear indicator how and by how much the MI contributes to improved test scores, discipline, parent participation, and success for students with learning disabilities.
