DISSEMINATION

  • How we spread the word about the project

    Playing ER games with other groups at school

    Other groups at our school also had the opportunity to try out our escape games. They said they liked it – it seemed to be much more exciting than typical EFL lessons -:) But the most appealing idea was that they could create similar games themselves!!!

    Foreign visitors

    On Dec 10th 2018 we had special guests in our project – exchange students from Leipzig. They visited our computer lab, worked in pairs with students from our project group and tried out all escape games which had been published up to that moment. We had a great time together – enjoyed  international cooperation and were happy to show this project to visitors.

    An article on the school website

    We are also planning to post an article and some graphics on the school website. Other students and teachers can learn more about the results of our project. They could read about the use of various ICT tools, about collaboration between partner schools and all the innovations in the project. They could also learn more about eTwinning platform -:)

    Younger classes played ER games

    Students of Year 1 classes played ER games. We were interested how they would succeed. And they did, managed to open locks or get to a final level of a game.
    They enjoyed their time having to solve riddles or find correct solution. Moreover, the students had a chance to get familiar with a number of online tools used for each game creation.

    We also created an onsite event on eTwinning Live to inform other eTwinners about the project and its dissemination at school.

    Teachers and parents know about the project

    During the project both teachers and parents learnt about the project idea and online cooperation with European schools. As this was not our first online project, the teachers and some parents already knew about working together across the borders.
    Teachers learnt about the project at a regular meeting and parents at parental meetings.

    Gdańsk, Poland dissemination

    In Gdańsk, Poland, we have:
    -played ER games with different classes and groups;
    -advertised ER and other eTwinning projects during our school's open day;
    -put info about the project on our school website;
    -showed the project activities to other teachers in our school;
    -shared examples of good practices in eTwinning (including ER) during an eTwinning conference at the University of Gdańsk, with teachers, students and lecturers.

    Learning with ER

    Other groups had the opportuniy of enjoying all countries ER games. They had great fun. We also explained the experience to our school community, both families and teachers. We have written about it on our website so that all our students know about it. They have also learned about eTwinning Space and they have realized the great amount of opportunities they can have to get in touch with other teenagers in Europe.
