Step 1: Reading or watching the story: Kathryn Cave Chris Riddell

    Something Else

There is a small creature that does his best to join in with the others. But he's different. No matter how he tries, he just doesn't belong. Then “Something” turns up and wants to be friends. But “Something Else” isn't sure he's like him at all...

Step 2: In a common brainstorming, everyday situations in school and at home are described in German and English (For example: A. writes the best work of the class, B. wins at a sporting event C. has a disagreement that escalates,…)

Questions: What are the reactions in the school?
How are the reactions at home?
    Are there rules?
    Are there penalties?
    Are there conflict resolution strategies?
    Is there a social training?

Step 3: The situations can be played (role play).
They can be creatively staged as picture stories, comics, video clips ...
In each partner country, two situations (positive, negative) are selected and played or otherwise presented (e.g., cartoon).
The partners play or draw ... the situations by incorporating the questions.

    Step 4: Online Meetings

The partners ask each other questions. (For example, who's helping you with your problem, what's your mom doing, what's your teacher going to do?
    Questions for the evaluation:
Are there different ways of dealing with everyday situations in different countries?
Can I find new ways of dealing with these situations through the project?
