AIMS AND WORK PROCESS

  • AIMS

    We expect students to:

-develop the understanding of their own culture, educational system and natural environment and notice similarities with and differences between different countries, their cultures, educational systems and natural environment
-improve their screenwriting skills, foster their creativity and get inspired by works of foreign students
    -practice acting skills
-gain or improve technical (specifically - video editing) skills
-improve their communication competence in English.

During the project teachers will exchange useful materials for leading film groups in their own schools.

    WORK PROCESS

    The structure is as follows:

    1) By the end of October 2018, each school's students (those that volunteer) will introduce themselves and present their school (and, optionally, their classes).

    2) In November one school will propose a video challenge of some sorts (e.g. make a video in one shot; or, make a video about a day in your principal's life). Students from other schools will answer the challenge and the best video will be voted by the challenge proposers.

    3) The same procedure is repeated in January, only a different school proposes a challenge.

    4) The same procedure is repeated in March.

    5) Students from each school make one tourism commercial (per school) for the place they live in by the end of May 2019.

Teachers are free to organize the filming groups according to their and their students' wishes. They communicate via e-mails and share any useful video making materials on Twinspace, as well as all the videos that are made during the project.
