Arboretum in the garden's high school

Pupils involved in the project Connecting woods worked in an arboretum creation. We chose some particular tree, bush and plant and we hope the itineary will be ready for the meeting with Francis Hallé on the 14th February.

On the 1rst February, we had a meeting with all the delegate of ecology to create The arboretum. We chose twenty six tree, bush and plant :

3 - Almond tree

4 - Tamarix

5 - Stawberry tree or Arbutus unedo

6 - Fig tree

7 - Holm oak

8 - Oleander

9 - Lagerstroemia

10 - Viburnum tinus or Laurestine

11 - Bay tree

12 - Pampas grass

13 - Apricot tree

14 - Rosemary

15 - Horsetail or snakegrass

16 - Cherry tree

17 - Callistemon

18 - Hackberry

19 - Santolina chamaecyparissus

20 - Lavender

21 - Kumquat

22 - Trachelospermum jasminoides

23 - Ginkgo Biloba

24 - Loquat (eriobotrya japonica)

The arboretum was opening by Francis Hallé the 14th February.
