Catalonia received the visit of our European partners in November 27th, 2017. To welcome them, we organised different activites but we also had time to visit Santpedor and Barcelona.

One of these activities was the visit of SOS Racism. The game they played was about Eradicate competition for resources and Promote cohesion and equality of rights and opportunities.

      

Notebooks activity: they aim of this activity was to make their own notebooks and decorate it with racism and fanatism issues. Here you can find the result:

            

Collage: In this activity we wanted to create a big collage with the newspaper  about racism that every country had to bring with them. Our students worked hard to make it possible and this is the result:

       

      

Anna Jiménez, graphic designer and illustrator: Because of the topic of the project, we thought it could be a great idea that an illustrator could come and explain us about this art in order to create the canvases.

      

Radio Santpedor: A radio journalist came to the school to interview us just to know how everything was going, how the students felt in another country and with the host families, etc. It was a different experience for all of us. 

      

Mayor Reception: The mayor of Santpedor received us and welcome all the coutries in the city Hall.

      

Visit Barcelona and dinner: We spent one day to visit different parts of Barcelona such as Parc Güell, Sagrada Família, Plaça Catalunya, Gòtic and Maremagnum. When we arrived to Santpedor, host families had prepared different catalan dishes for all of us. Students, families and teachers had a great dinner in the school.
