Forget me not

They’re found all over cities and towns: buildings, monuments, industrial buildings and parks that are silent witnesses to history; whether old, dilapidated, restored, refurbished, abandoned or inhabited. Find a very special place and tell, paint or represent its history.

move2learn meeting Thorpe-le-soken, England 14.01.-18.01.2018

From January 14 -18, 2018 sixteen German students visited their "Forget me not" project partners at Tendring Technology College in Thorpe-le-soken, Essex, UK. The German students were granted travel funds from last year's common eTwinning project "Beam me to 2027" to visit their partner school. So we decided to take the chance and work on our recent project together.

The programme of the meeting:

Impressions of day 1:

Treasure hunt around Thorpe-le-soken, exploring historic buildings and places:

This is the grave of William Gull, inhabitant of Thorpe, who was among the suspects of having been Jack the Ripper.

Impressions of day 2:

Later on in the day...
