    26 Jan 2015

On our first meeting day at Heinrich Heine School students got the opportunity to get to know each other through sports activities. After they've spent one day in their host families already, they had a lot of stories to tell already.

After a short break the pupils enjoyed an informative workshops with experts from "sicher dein web" Frankfurt. The topic of the German project meeting "What can be done against the misuse of social media?" was introduced.

    DAY 2: ART WORKSHOP

" What have you already found out about problems that can occur when using social media?"
"What can be done against these problems?"
These were the major questions of the second project meeting day. Focussing on a creative approach, the students took photos portraying social media problems and edited them on the computer.
The results make the observant think and build one approach of social media misuse prevention.

DAY 3: ART WORKSHOP PART II/ MEETING WITH A POLICE OFFICER
    28 jan 2015

On this day of the German project meeting, the students were able to finish and reflect on their workshop results.
Additionally they got the chance to have their questions answered by a German police representative. Through this, one question which was answered was "What is already done to prevent social media misuse?"
Last but not least the project participants shared knowledge by meeting the "media scouts" of Heinrich Heine School. This team of pupils was trained to assist and help in cases of social media misuse and might be a role model for partner schools.
