Spain arrives in Skövde. Rosina and the host families meet up at the railway station.

Italy, Cyprus, Greece and Turkey arrive in Skövde. Rosina and the host families meet up at the railway station.

Monday 8 April

08.00-09.15 Students and their hosts attend lessons in school

09:30- 10:15 Headmistress Josefine Wester welcomes our guests in Auditorium D. The programme and all the activities are presented. The Swedish students present our school.

10:30 Swedish fika in ”Utsikten B2”

10:45- 11:30 Guided tour around the school (in groups)

11:30-12:30 Lunch (school) and we’ll meet up in the cafeteria afterwards.

13:00-14.00 Visit to the City Hall.

14.00-15.30 Guided city tour.

The evening is spent with the host families.

Tuesday 9 april

08:00 Presentation of comic chapter by Italy. Auditiorium D

09:30-11:30 Visit to Balthazar Science Centre (John Downey).

12:00-13:00 Lunch break (we eat in the school restaurant)

13.00-14.30 Meeting with the Integration Unit in Skövde.

Auditorium D

14:45-16.00 Teacher meeting (Conference hall C1), students attend classes.

The evening is spent with the host families.

Wednesday 10 April

Trip to Gothenburg. Bus from Arena 7.45. Back in Skövde 19.00.

10.30 House of Emigrants

12.00-14-30 Lunch and free time (shopping?)

15.00 Universeum (Scandinavia’s largest Science Center)

17.00 Bus back to Skövde.

Note! The Swedish students will pay for our guests’ lunch. Our school pays for fika that we bring with us.

Thursday 11 April

08:00-09:15 Class with students who study ”Swedish as a second language”  Auditorium A

09:35-10.50 Different group activities.

11:00 Lunch at school

12:30-14:30 Meeting with IM (Introduction programme for newly arrived youths). In groups.

Evening: ”Dutch treat” - meal at school (probably in the cafeteria). All the host families bring food, which everyone shares.

Friday 12 April

08:00-09:30 Presentation of comic chapters by Spain and Sweden. Auditorium D

10.00-10.30 Evaluations and certificates

11:00 Lunch at school

11.30 Outing to the Bison farm Wrågård (fika).

The evening is spent with the host families.  

Saturday 13 April

Departure to Stockholm (not Cyprus) at 08.25 or earlier.The host families take the guests to the railway station in Skövde.
