Dreams have no Gender

“Dreams have no Gender” is a collaborative project designed to focus on gender issues and stereotypes. Boys and girls are constantly bombarded by stereotypical images. They are expected to adopt, believe in, and fulfill specific gender roles and stereotypes that have been established. Boys are expected to demonstrate certain characteristics and behaviours that are “masculine”, while girls are held accountable for being “feminine”. This project challenges these ingrained ideas and images. It aims to raise awareness and to encourage students to question gender stereotypes, to think critically and to break down barriers.
