Project „Bookworms” encourages pupils to read, develop reading skills and habits. It enhances the pupils’ enjoyment of reading books through the usage of creative activities. Pupils aged 11-14 from different countries read and present books chosen by themselves. The emphasis is on contemporary literature and interesting books that are popular among teenagers. After reading, pupils present selected books to all project participants and try to motivate them to read the presented book. Pupils will present books by making posters and PowerPoint presentations, short films, illustrations and reviews. Teachers will give them guidelines to work and motivate them.
