Migrations- cement for Europe

twinspace-logo

The European Union is currently facing several unsettling issues as Brexit, the ascent of nationalist doctrines and the migratory waves. Therefore, it has become urgent that people should acknowledge and understand the new circumstances, and that students should be taught tolerance, acceptance along with the rejection of prejudice and xenophobic attitudes. During the project, the students will study the history and role of migratory movements in shaping today’s Europe, while being given the opportunity to acquire and improve skills that are required in life, such as command of foreign languages and computer use. As well as that, the project will provide a chance to gather educators, students, parents, even communities around a set of common values and goals. Our collaboration will deal with migrations from 20th century up to present day. To approach these topics, students will produce films, interwiews, PowerPoint presentations, logs, exhibitions, dramatizations
