The aim of this activity is to learn about the literature and history of different nations in different settings. So each school will select a topic and a character who, through his speech, is able to reflect the literary and historical background of his country by an elegant, fluent, persuasive speaking in order to arouse the audience emotions.

The topic chosen by the Italian teachers and students is "the journey". Source for inspiration is the "Divine Comedy", written by Dante, the father of Italian language and literature. The character focused is Ulysses; his song about the exile and the journey is the example of oratory. The teacher, Raffaella Campo, wrote the script in Italian and the students translated into English. More groups of pupils have been involved: some acted, others edited the two videos, one opening, the other closing the oratory.

The auditory can consider his jouney both physical and spiritual.
