A short project for European Day of Languages, on idioms from around Europe. This project will explore the different ways we use idiomatic language, and also whether there are any similarities in idioms. For example, do we all say "big headed" for someone who is conceited? Also, are there any recurrent themes in the idioms, nationally or internationally? Partners can be as creative as they wish in the ways they want to share the idioms. This could be through art work, role play, PowerPoints or even short animated films using iPads. Some might even be set to music as a jingle!
