Billundskolen, Billund, Denmark

  • Billundskolen is a public school in Denmark, situated in the hometown of LEGO.

At this time we have about 800 pupils and 75 teachers. We have kids from 0th grade (kindergarten school) to 9th grade. The classes is traditionally divided in three groups: 0th to 3rd grade, 4th to 6th and 7th to 9th.

The pupils have from 30 to 34 lessons per week. A typical teacher teaches 24-25 lessons per week, and there are about 22 pupils per class in average. It is allowed to have up to 28 pupils per class.

The facilities in the school are good. Computers and smartboards are fairly new, and the school principal is doing a great job, running the school. The staff care is excellent, and teachers thrive.

Here is a presentation with some pictures and text by the pupils.
