Topic : Figures
Material : Salt dough
Salt dough is excellent not only for playing with children, but also for making lovely decorations in your house. We can make figures, photo frames or decorative dishes. Everything depends on our imagination and preferences. Salt dough is ductile, so we can form in in any way we like. Even small kids can make their own figures. It will bring lots of fun and will help develop their creativity as well as motor skills.
Salt dough recipe
200g of flour
200g of salt
½ glass of water
Mix flour with salt, and then add water. Yo have to add water very slowly. Pug it within 5-10 minutes until it becomes ductile and we will be able to make everything our imagination tells us to do.
The salt mass should be baked (or properly dried) in the oven with the door open (60-75 ° C) until the ornaments and figurines are dry. At the end of the baking, it is better to close the door and increase the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius. The products then become bluish, which can be an interesting effect.
You can also make a salt mass that will dry freely in the open air. But it takes a lot longer.
