8th game ROLLING STONE

  • Name of the game:  Rolling Stones

    Duration: A 3 sets game( no exact time)

    Type: An outdoor game (school garden is appropriate)

    Age: for the 3rd and 4th grade students

    How to play:

    • There needs to be a rectangular area for the game.
    •   9 stones are put on each other, and they are placed in a circle within the rectangular area. The team, which is called as “it”, is located around this circle.
    • The captain of the team stands in front of the stones. And the opponent team stands on the line, which is just the opposite of the circle.
    • The opponent team kicks the ball in turns and they try to roll the stones around. If they are able to roll the stones, the “it” team try to hit the opponent team’s palyers with the ball. At the same time, the opponent team try to get away from the ball and meanwhile they try to put the stones on each other again.
    • If they are able to put the stones, they win. And the game starts again.  However, if the “it” team is able to hit every player of the opponent team, then they win. 
    • The game goes on in three sets. And who gets the three points, is the winner of the game.
