First Steps

  • The most important thing is that this is an open document  that could be modified in case you considerer it is necessary.

Now, the question is How to use TwinSpace?

Of course there are many tutorial or websites wich explain that, for instance: <https://stm.etwinning.net/en/pub/collaboration_in_etwinning_/management_of_twinspace.htm> And I’m sure that your National Agencies have some similar in your own languages.

Moreover, I think we should have some basic rules to work in this plattform with our pupils.

    I propose the following:

    1. Teachers will own the role ADMINISTRATOR.

    2. Pupils, at least in the beginning, will own only the role MEMBER wich allows see all we make, but not create a forum or a page. Teachers can include members and, occasionally, can give to some pupils (e.g. one representative from each team of four or five) the role of PUPIL ADMINISTRATOR in order to prepare, for instance, a the page wich includes the tasks that the group have to present. Pupils have to use the following webgate to join the plattform:

    https://twinspace.etwinning.net/unauthorized

    3. We will have a page introducing each activity, and a page with the outcames from each group. E.g.: for the page “Presenting ourselves” (wich is the first activity),  IES Las Fuentes will built the page “Hola, from Spain”.

    4. We can manage a forum related to each activity: Doubs that we have, more information, comments about the outcomes… After that, teachers could open new fórums about questions that they considerer interesting to be treated with our pupils.

    5. Regarding the use of the CHAT and LIVE EVENT, the most important point is to use it only to talk about things related to the project, not personal issues.

    6. To complete the firs activity we can uploud MATERIALS like images or videos in the folders that have already been created. Remember everytime we are working, academically in teams or in groups, no individually or like persons separated to the rest. Afterwards, we can add more folders to include all that we consider convinient.

    What else?
