Christmas

 

Christmas start on 21st December and so do our school holidays. On Christmas Eve families have dinner together and enjoy delicius "turrón", which is a dessert that consists of sugar and almonds and we have marzipans too.

At midnight we have a special mass to celebrate Jesus Christ´s birth. On 25th Dece,ber, Christmas day, we go to a mass too and we kiss Jesus´s statue. On 31st December at midnight we celebrate New Year´s Eve. Twelve bells rins and we eat our twelve lucky grapes. We must be quick if we want to begin the new year being really lucky. The 1st January is New year´s day. Finally, the 6th January, The Three Wise Men come to our homes and leave us lots of presents.
