TOLERANCE IN OUR SCHOOLS

Tolerance is a very important issue nowadays  because we live in the multicultural world where poeple have different views and approaches and it is difficult to combine them and understand different points of view. Therefore this topic is very accute at schools nowadays everwhere in the world. What is tolerance ?Cambridge Dictionary gives us  it as  willingness to accept behaviour and beliefs that are different from your own, although you might not agree with or approve of them. other sources give the similar definitions.

Conclusion: Also the majority of school stuff tolerate each other at school,also tolerate older people and people with different lifestyles,more than half of students do not feel comfortably reporting the harrasment and more than half of students think that teachers do not work enough to create a safe environment at schools.

     WHAT COULD BE DONE ???

Students discussed on the Facebook in their closed groups and came up to the following suggestions;

1. Pay more attention to the day of Tolerance which is celebrated in November( involve more students,more interesting activities should be organised my students school council).

2. Organise the photo exibition with the cases of tolerance to promote this view to more students.

3. Have open discussions in classes with teachers to encourage more collaboration in this feeld.

4. Think individually what can I do to be more tolerant.

ALL THESE IDEAS WERE PASSED TO THE PRESIDENT OF STUDENTS COUNCIL.
