    Route and tasks

Students had to recognise the object based on the given photo or the riddle. Once there, each group had to take a photo. With the given target and then was given a task to do by the leader of the game

    1. The small manor called „Poniatówka"

The first task was not much of a challenge for our students. Each group headed towards the small manor straight away. As a building with a long history, strictly connected to Piaseczno, it was a perfect target for one of the stations in the PhotoHunt competition. Students answered the questions quickly using the information boards and the Internet to start a run for the next target just seconds after.

    1. Perełka River

This time a poem was supposed to lead students to their target which was not difficult as well. Walking through the park left no time for admiring the nature. Students walked really fast to their next stop – the well-known Perełka, where the next challenge awaited

    1. District Court

Next was the court situated in the centre of Piaseczno. Thanks to a photo of Temida’s bas-relief, a symbol of blind justice, even those unacquainted with architecture and history of the town had no problem finding it. Questions from a social studies category were a bigger problem but even they did not keep the students from achieving their goal

    1. St. Anna’s Church

The church, as one of the oldest buildings in Piaseczno, has ingrown into the memory of all its citizens. Students answered easily the questions concerning the architecture of the church, when it came into being and who the parson is. Halfway through the run, every team was sure they would be the ones winning. Nobody expected that the last two tasks would be harder than the previous ones.

    1. Town hall

Although the photo the students were given was unusual, all teams recognised immediately the Town Hall, situated next to the previous target - the church. Sure of winning, the students were surprised by a question concerning geography. It took a large amount of their precious time but eventually students sorted it out as well and were ready for the last challenge.

    1. The school

Even though the students see it every day, recognising the building based on a photo from before the renovation and demolition of the old gym was a big difficulty.

    A summary

The game went well, without any problems and in the friendly atmosphere, despite the competition. The teams had a chance to show their cleverness and team working abilities.

Team 1B won the main prize - a day without being tested for the whole class. Other teams received some rewards as well.
