ACTIVITIES WE ACCOMPLISHED IN THE PROJECT

  • Step 1. The multimedial presentation in Power Point about the English Royal Family.

    The presentation sticked to the following scheme:

    1. The members of the royal family,

    2. The way of bringing the royal baby?

    3. The customs on court.

    4. The architecture of Buckingham Palace.

     

    5. The art and painting on royal court.

     

    The aim of this activity was to show people the importance of making a visual material, students have made well-thought presentations, which are full of important informations and great posters about the Royals.

    Step 2. Crossword: How much do you know about the Royal Family?

    The crossword from Polish school in Sieradz:

    The aim of this activity was to solve a crossword which appeared as a good lesson for students who have already finished their presentations and have checked their knowledge about the English Royal Family.

    Step 5. Puzzle- English Royal Family and Buckingham Palace.

    The aims of the activities :gapfill exercises, quiz and puzzle developed students' interest in the Royals' World and turned out to be a great fun for them by solving them.

    Step 6. Logos from Poland, Italy, Turkey.

    The aim of the Logos' activity developed students' and teachers' creativity and plasticity skills. At the end  votes were counted and the Turkish logo  won.

    Step 7. International vocabulary connected with the vocabulary of the English Royal Family.

    This activity developed international language between partners who have taken part in the project. Partners got to know eachother's native language ( the most important key word: ruler, Queen, family etc) in Turkish, Italian, Polish, French and Norwegian.

    Step 8. Christmas greetings for her Majesty the Queen.

    The aim of this activity was to realize young people that they can send greetings cards to the Queen, to someone who is speaking language they are learning. The aim was to strenghten their awareness about the aim of students' learning, they can write to someone who is a very important person worldwide.

    Step 9. Quiz about the International Vocabulary.

    The aim of this activity was to check students' knowledge about their international words connected with the Royal Family themes.

    Step 10. Some fun exercise- hanged man.

    A funny well- thought game for students which was a lovely exercise fot testing students' knowledge about the Royals and their world.

    Step 11. English Royal Family Quiz and its scores as the summing up of the project.

    Our project was a big challenge for pupils and their teachers. We learned a lot about the Royals' life, their cultural background, history, customs and their every day life. The most important thing  and the biggest challenge for pupils was to make a presentation in front of the school comunity. The multimedia presenation rose the audience to their feet and everybody was fascinated with the way the pupils talked about the Windsors Family.
