In the project pupils will deal with proverbs in various languages. They will collect proverbs in their mother tongue, either look for English equivalents or try to explain them in English. Via English as the working language pupils are supposed to find equivalents in their partners' mother tongues. Proverbs will also be visualized, either by drawing them, taking photos or making short videos. Moreover, pupils will try to find information about the origin of certain proverbs. This step can show the common cultural heritage in Europe as expressed in our languages and at the same time might lead to differences that we will try to explain. All the products will be collected in one product, probably an e-book.
