The project Forest-Metsä-Wald is a cooperation between the Austrian school HLW Türnitz and Lapin matkailuopisto, Levi-Instituutti in Finland. E-twinning is part of the project. Austria and Finland have got a lot of forests. Both areas offer many possibilities for the latest trends in the tourism, namely the returning to local resources for relaxation and leisure activities and the emphasis on sustainability. The project intends to make students aware of the nature resources of their areas. Students deal with the objectives of green tourism. The partner schools focus on a greater understanding of the connection between nature, environment and tourism.
