The project aims to increase students’ interest in historical landmarks and their importance in the society. Living in a multicultural area, we need to understand and cherish our national values and educate the students to appreciate our culture and the culture of our partners. The project ”Travel in time” has three different sections. In the section ”I was here”, students aged 10 – 14 years old will present drawings or collages inspired by historical places they visited. For the section ”To visit in my country”, groups of maximum four students will create a portfolio containing an essay and a touristic guide presenting historical landmarks in their region. The section ”Through the lens” is dedicated to passionate photographers that took pictures of touristic historical objectives.
