Pesto alla Genovese
- fresh basil leaves,
- freshly grated Romano or Parmesan-Reggiano cheese
- extra virgin olive oil
- pine nuts
- 3 garlic cloves,
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Place basil leaves, garlic and pine nuts into the bowl and chop them. Add olive oil, salt and pepper. Add Romano and Reggiano.
Now add your pesto to spaghetti or rosted bread!!!!
Caprese
- Mozzarella
- Tomatoes
- Basil
- Salt, olive oil
Slice mozzarella and tomatoes
Put a slice of mozzarella on top of one of tomato
Add salt, olive oil and basil
Dessert
- Ricotta (cheese)
- Pavesini (biscuit)
- Juice
- sugar
- Fruit
Mix the ricotta and sugar
Put Pavesini into a bit of juice
Make a layer of Pavesini, one of ricotta and add some fruit (repeat)
