Knights & Castles

Finnish and German pupils learn about partner countries, their history, language and culture. Pupils learn about medieval knights and castles in Germany, living in Finland in the Middle Ages and Finnish castles. Pupils learn to speak some Finnish and German. They will learn to greet each other and to use some general phrases in each other’s languages. During the project period, the Finnish and German classes will meet regularly online. They will work together on the project topics creating pictures, animations and board games dealing with the project topic. The pupils will write their own texts dealing with medieval life. At the end of the project period, the pupils and teachers will meet each other when the Finnish pupils travel to Germany. The project work and planned mobilities are a part of the Erasmus+ plan of Oriveden kaupunki (Erasmus+ accreditation mobilities).
