Aerial granaries, ground elevated structures mainly used to preserve harvest, exists in different regions of Europe, and represent an important part of our ethnographic heritage, both from the point of view of traditional agriculture and architecture. They are called “Hórreos” in Spain, "Espigueiros" in Portugal or "Hambars" in the Balkan region. The idea of the project is to study and compare these structures, presented in our regions. From this study, we intend to add value to our traditional patrimonial heritage, while promoting the internationalization of our schools.
