The project will involve 14 to 15 years old students from two different European countries, and will contribute to raise their awareness of the global migrations crisis and the role of the European Union. It will also promote active European and global citizenship among them. Students will learn about the main migration routes and will meet refugees and asylum seekers. Relevant issues concerning the main reasons of migrations today and in the past will be discussed in international teams and they will look for ways of making a difference towards the future. Through this project, students will have the opportunity to do some research, communicate, interact and create a wide range of products that will be shared and disseminated among the participant schools and local communities and will require the use of English, along with the knowledge and contents of social and history studies, even maths and science. The project will also enhance their creativity and their artistic skills.
