Climate change is something that has been a growing concern for many years, though it is only during the last few years that we have started to see the effects of global warming on the world first-hand, primarily through an increase in the amount of natural disasters occurring around the globe. We are convinced that we need to take responsibility for the damage we've already caused. Schools from Germany, Lithuania, Portugal, Poland, Greece and Spain have decided to create a project dedicated to the environmental protection. With our project we would like to use our power of education to build a positive attitude and relationship with the natural environment. We want to work on reducing the use of plastics as much as possible, reducing the waste food, on saving water and electricity at schools and homes, on improving the sustainability, protecting the plants and animals. Our planning includes specific activities as planting trees, saving electric energy at our schools, making our schoolyards clean and nice, building insect hotels and protecting endangered insects and animals in the area.
