Promote sport at school especially in the school yard. No need lots of materials. Each month one class proposes a challenge to the others. It meens the children have to explain the rules with drawings and shorts texts. They develop their abilities to write a rule and to understand. Writing and reading in english is another objectiv, the challenge has to be easy to understand and to practise. During the month the others classes do the challenge and send the record they can also publish photos in the twin space. I give you an exemple of a challenge : throwing a hoop as far as possible !
