Extensive reading helps to stimulate students’ reading skills and increases crosscurricular knowledge. "Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus" by Mary Shelley is a tour around the world and leads the reader to creative adventuring. Students and teachers from different countries will carry out collaborative project work through cross curricular approach. They will have the opportunity to learn about the author, characters, plot and themes: society and class, science and technology, man and natural world, personal relationships, and the countries and cities where the novel takes place. Sts are expected to develop reading and writing skills in L2 using different media through collaborative work using different ICT tools. As common tasks will share information about themselves and their reading habits, exchange work and activities on the story and the author participate in videoconferences, and organise presentations. As common outcome they might create an eBook, a magazine or a video.
