We want students to collaboratively produce stories using their knowledge of local life, culture and history. Throughout the process, narrative construction practices are promoted using “stimulators” of imagination and creativity. Each group starts a narrative from various elements provided by the teacher and builds a bag, where they place the constructed paragraphs, accompanied by the physical elements that triggered the constructed text. Afterwards, the bag is sent to a partner country that will continue the story. The construction and reception of the various parts of the story would be shared on the TwinSpace. Several narratives are then constructed, developing oral and written communication in the mother tongue and English, as well as imagination, creativity and knowledge of the environment/local heritage. In the end, each story will correspond to a digital book and can be dramatized.
It is also an opportunity for teachers to share strategies for developing creativity in writing.
