About project

  • This  project involves the exchange of experiences between schools from different European countries. During the project, children will be involved in carrying out various project tasks. They get to know the culture of other nations, language, location, and national symbols (Collaborative Google Maps, online games) . They will work in groups in their schools (making weather calendars,creating logos,collecting leaves) and in international groups (Autumn dictionary, Autumn story, Leaf Books).Some tasks also will  be done individually like taking photos of Autumn scenery. They will develop 21st century competences, including language skills by  using  English language in project and also learning new words in different languages (Autumn dictionary).Children will  improve the ability to communicate in English with partners during online meetings. Students will also develop ICT competences by using modern technologies to create joint projects ( computers/mobile phones/tablests),using intresting apps e.g. Autumn Word Clouds (Mentimeter App), playing common online games (Wordwall and  Kahoot), making projects ( Canva), online meeting (ZOOM). They will  develop social and civic competences through awareness of their origin, getting to know diversity and preparation for life in an intercultural society. The project will also develop the creative thinking of students and teachers by putting ideas into practice ( Common Autumn Story).They will improve mathematical and science skills by observing weather, using meteorological tools, creating weather calendar, comparing weather in many places in Europe or learning about leaves and trees in many regions of Europe. Children will have possibility to express their ideas, present their creativity and art skills making Common Autumn Story. In this project students will learn about Autumn season by doing, discovering, experimenting and creating.  Teachers will exchange their ideas on Twinspace , Padlet and Facebook.They will learn each others about good practice and teaching methods.
